R.I.S.E. Above Anger

Why Your Anger Makes Sense

Finally understand the anger you couldn't express as a child, and learn a safe way to work with it.

Do You?

  • Feel angry about things that happened years or even decades ago?

  • Find yourself getting upset over little things and wonder why?

  • Hold your anger inside until it comes out in ways you regret?

  • Feel guilty or ashamed when you get angry?

  • Struggle to express anger because you were taught it was wrong?

  • Feel like there's anger buried deep inside you that you can't reach?

Your anger may have roots in childhood experiences you never had the chance to process.

As a child, expressing anger may not have been safe. Staying quiet, hiding your feelings, or trying to please others may have helped you survive.

But those feelings don't always disappear just because you've grown up.

In this self-paced course, you'll learn why anger develops, how it can affect your life, and ways to safely express and work through it.

When You Understand Your Anger, Something Important Changes

You stop asking: "Why am I still so angry?"

And start asking: "What happened to me that made me feel this way?"

Your anger begins to make sense.

And instead of fighting it, you can begin working through it.

  • You have difficulty standing up for yourself or expressing your needs.

Your Anger Deserves to Be Understood

Anger buried becomes pain, but anger released becomes relief.

For many childhood trauma survivors, anger was something they had to hide.

You may have learned that speaking up would only make things worse. So you swallowed your feelings, kept the peace, and did whatever you needed to feel safe.

Those responses made sense when you were a child.

But today, you have opportunities to learn different ways of responding to your feelings.

You don't have to force your anger away, and you don't have to let it control your life.

You can begin by understanding it.

Take your time with this material. Work at a pace that feels safe. Some exercises may bring up strong emotions, and it's okay to pause or seek support.

Healing isn't about never feeling angry again.

It's about learning that you can feel anger, express it safely, and still be in control of your choices.

Created From Lived Experience

I know what it's like to carry anger from childhood because I lived it myself.

Growing up with abuse, fear, and instability, I learned that expressing my feelings wasn't always safe.

Years later, during my own trauma recovery, I began working through the anger I'd carried for so long.

There were times when it was difficult to reach those feelings, and times when they came out with an intensity I never expected.

I learned that anger wasn't something I needed to be ashamed of. It was a natural response to things that should never have happened to me.

Through years of therapy and recovery, I found ways to understand and safely express those feelings.

And I discovered that I didn't have to carry that same anger for the rest of my life.

I created this course to share what helped me, along with practical exercises and insights that can help you begin understanding your own anger.

You deserve to feel heard, even if the person who hurt you never listens.

Much love,
Maggie
