Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

Welcome to LeavingTraumaland.com and the programs, courses, content, products, services, and resources offered by Maggie Weldon Inc. doing business as Leaving TraumaLand (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using this website or purchasing, accessing, or participating in any of our courses, programs, downloads, services, emails, memberships, communities, or other materials (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our Services.

1. Educational Purpose Only

Our Services are provided for educational and personal growth purposes only. They are not medical or mental health treatment and are not a substitute for professional care.

Maggie Weldon is not a licensed therapist, counselor, physician, or other mental health professional. The information, tools, frameworks, courses, live Q&A sessions, and other resources we provide are based on personal experience, education, research, and study and are intended to support your own healing work.

You are encouraged to use your own judgment, take what is helpful to you, and seek appropriate professional support when needed. Nothing provided through our Services is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.

2. Eligibility

By using this website or our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. No Therapeutic Relationship

Your use of this website or participation in any of our Services does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, fiduciary, medical, or other professional relationship between you and the Company.

Any guidance, educational teaching, or support provided through our Services is not therapy and should not be treated as therapy.

4. Personal Responsibility

Healing work is deeply personal, and results vary from person to person.

You understand that:

Your healing journey is personal, and results will vary. Your progress may depend on many factors, including your history, circumstances, effort, support systems, readiness, and the choices you make along the way. We cannot guarantee any particular result, transformation, emotional outcome, or life change. You remain responsible for your own decisions, well-being, and how you choose to use the information provided through our Services.

5. Crisis and Mental Health Emergencies

Our Services are not intended for crisis support.

If you are in crisis, feel unsafe, or are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, seek immediate help from emergency services, call or text 988 or 911 in the United States, or contact a licensed mental health professional or local crisis resource in your area.

6. Use of Website and Services

You agree to use this website and our Services only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Use our content in any way that violates any law or regulation

• Interfere with or disrupt the website or Services

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, platform, accounts, or systems

• Share, copy, distribute, republish, sell, or reproduce our materials except as expressly permitted

• Use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
• You agree not to share, distribute, or provide access to any paid content to any third party.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on this website and in our Services, including but not limited to text, videos, audio, downloads, worksheets, graphics, logos, branding, course materials, frameworks, and methodologies, are owned by or licensed to Maggie Weldon Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

This includes, without limitation, the BRAVE Method™ and all related course and program materials.

When you purchase or access our Services, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for your own individual use only.

You may not:

• Copy, duplicate, reproduce, or republish our materials

• Upload or share our materials publicly or privately with others

• Sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit our materials

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from our materials

• Share your login credentials or program access with anyone else

We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

8. Payments and Membership Billing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

By purchasing a course, program, membership, or other Service, you agree to pay the fees shown at checkout.

The Leaving TraumaLand Membership is available as either a monthly or annual subscription.

Monthly Membership: If you select the monthly membership, your membership will automatically renew each month and your payment method will be charged the applicable monthly membership fee until you cancel.

Annual Membership: If you select the annual membership, you will be charged the annual membership fee at checkout. Your membership will automatically renew each year and your payment method will be charged the applicable annual membership fee unless you cancel before your next renewal date.

You may cancel your monthly or annual membership at any time to prevent the next automatic renewal. Cancellation does not end your current paid membership period. You will continue to have membership access through the end of the period for which you have already paid.

Individual Course Purchases: Courses may also be available for purchase separately from the membership. Purchasing an individual course is not a membership and does not provide access to other Leaving TraumaLand courses, programs, or membership benefits unless specifically stated on the applicable sales or checkout page.

Some customers may be offered installment, delayed-payment, or financing options through a third-party payment provider at checkout. These options are offered and administered by the third-party provider, not Maggie Weldon Inc. or Leaving TraumaLand. Eligibility, payment schedules, fees, and other terms are determined by that provider. Any payment obligations you enter into with a third-party provider are subject to your agreement with that provider.

If a membership payment cannot be processed, we may suspend or terminate membership access until payment is successfully completed.

We reserve the right to change our prices. Any pricing change affecting an existing recurring membership will be communicated before the new price takes effect.

9. Refunds and 48-Hour Membership Guarantee

Because our courses, programs, and digital products provide immediate access to digital content, purchases are generally final unless a specific refund guarantee is stated on the applicable sales or checkout page.

The Leaving TraumaLand Membership includes a 48-hour money-back guarantee on your initial membership purchase. If you decide the membership is not right for you, you must request cancellation and a refund within 48 hours of your initial purchase.

After the 48-hour guarantee period, membership payments are non-refundable, including payments for partially used billing periods or failure to use the membership.

The 48-hour guarantee applies only to your initial membership purchase and does not restart with monthly or annual renewals or if you cancel and later rejoin.

Canceling your membership prevents future renewal charges but does not create a refund for charges already made, except as provided under the 48-hour guarantee or as otherwise required by law.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the refund terms displayed at checkout and in these Terms.

10. Course Purchases and Membership Access

Leaving TraumaLand courses may be accessed in two different ways: through an active membership or by purchasing an individual course separately.

Individual Course Purchases: When you purchase an individual course, you receive lifetime access to that specific course and the videos, workbooks, exercises, and other materials included with that course, including updates we may make to those materials over time, unless otherwise stated on the applicable sales or checkout page.

Purchasing one course does not give you access to other Leaving TraumaLand courses, future courses, or membership benefits unless they are specifically included with your purchase.

For purposes of these Terms, "lifetime access" means access for as long as Maggie Weldon Inc. continues to offer and support that course and the platform or technology necessary to provide it remains reasonably available. It does not mean that any particular website, platform, technology, or version of a course will be maintained indefinitely.

Membership Access: An active Leaving TraumaLand Membership gives you access to the courses and resources currently included in the membership. This access continues only while your membership remains active and paid.

If you cancel your membership, you will continue to have access through the end of your current paid membership period. After that period ends, access to membership courses, videos, workbooks, exercises, and other membership content will end unless you have purchased a particular course separately.

Accessing a course through the membership does not give you lifetime access to that course. If you would like lifetime access to a particular course, it must be purchased separately.

Downloadable materials may be downloaded and retained only when we specifically make them available for download and subject to the personal-use and intellectual-property provisions of these Terms.

We may add, update, replace, or remove courses, resources, features, or other content included with the membership as the membership continues to grow and evolve.

11. Community Standards and Group Etiquette

If you participate in any group program, community space, comments section, Zoom call, live session, membership area, social media group, or other interactive part of our Services, you agree to communicate respectfully.

You may not engage in conduct that is abusive, threatening, harassing, vulgar, defamatory, discriminatory, intentionally divisive, or harmful to others.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Name-calling

• Intimidation or threats

• Harassment

• Repeated unwanted contact

• Disclosing private information about others

• Attacking, shaming, or demeaning other participants

• Behavior that, in our sole discretion, creates an unsafe or disruptive environment

We reserve the right to remove any person from a course, group, call, community, email list, or Service at our discretion if their conduct is inappropriate, disruptive, abusive, or violates these Terms.

No refund will be provided in the event of removal for violation of these Terms.

This includes communications via email, live sessions, messaging platforms, social media, or any other interaction connected to our Services.

12. User Submissions
Your purchase or membership access gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the applicable Leaving TraumaLand courses, programs, and materials for your own education and personal healing. Login details may not be shared. All course and membership materials remain the intellectual property of Maggie Weldon Inc. and Leaving TraumaLand and may not be copied, shared, reproduced, resold, or distributed without written permission.

13. Testimonials and Examples

Testimonials, examples, and stories shared on this website or in our marketing are individual experiences and are not guarantees of results.

Your experience may be different.

14. Third-Party Links and Resources

This website and our Services may include links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, or resources.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. Your use of third-party resources is at your own risk.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and all Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability

• Non-infringement

We do not guarantee that the website or Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maggie Weldon Inc., Leaving TraumaLand, and all related owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to your use of this website or Services.

This includes, without limitation, damages for:

• Emotional distress

• Personal injury

• Loss of data

• Loss of income

• Loss of profits

• Business interruption

• Loss of goodwill

any other loss or damage arising from reliance on our content or participation in our Services

If, notwithstanding the foregoing, we are found liable for any claim, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is less.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maggie Weldon Inc., Leaving TraumaLand, and all related owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the website or Services

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights

• Your conduct toward other users or participants

18. Termination

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse service, restrict access, suspend accounts, or terminate your access to the website or any Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we believe is harmful to us, our business, or others.

Any obligations that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property protections, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

20. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, or our Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with the updated date above.

Your continued use of the website or Services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

23. Emotional and Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge that trauma-related content may bring up emotional responses. By participating in our Services, you agree to engage at your own pace and to take responsibility for your emotional well-being.

You understand that you may pause, skip, or discontinue participation at any time. You agree to seek professional support if needed.

24. Live Q&A Sessions

The Leaving TraumaLand Membership includes twice monthly live Q&A sessions with Maggie Weldon. These sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions about the educational material and gain additional understanding and guidance.

Participation in the live Q&A sessions is completely optional. You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. You may ask questions and join the conversation, keep your camera off, or simply listen. There is never a requirement to speak, appear on camera, or share personal information.

Live Q&A sessions are educational only. They are not therapy, counseling, medical or mental health treatment, or individual coaching, and participation does not create a therapist-client or other professional relationship.

Dates and times may occasionally change due to illness, emergencies, scheduling needs, technical difficulties, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify members of any scheduling changes.

A session may occasionally be rescheduled, canceled, or replaced with alternative educational content when necessary.

Attendance at any particular live Q&A session is not guaranteed. Refunds or credits will not be provided for missed sessions, scheduling changes, or a member's inability to attend.
